Each individual RP may have its own rules, as long as all of the board's official rules and proboards rules apply.
Fan Characters are allowed unless you state in the first post of the Role Play that it is not allowed. There must be some sort of rules in the first post, or at least the storyline or something.
You may make participants of the RP have to apply with examples of how they can act like the character they want to be, how much they know about the character, etc.
Do NOT reject someone that is trying to get a role in the RP unless they are spamming, not following rules, or truely don't work for the RP. (Example: they apply as Ritsuka but really don't know what they're doing and it's part of the rules to be good at being the character you want to be.)
RP's do NOT have to be very professional, they can be silly/stupid/fun/whatever, but there will not be spamming
Example RP posting:
(Subject:) Loveless RP - High School
(Post:) Hi! This is a Loveless RP mostly for Loveless fan characters. You may apply as an exsisting Loveless Character, though there's shouldn't be many. Fan characters need to have a name (of course), a 'real name' (Loveless, Beloved, Zero, Sleepless, Breathless, etc.) and a personality to all be described in your applying post.
The RP will take place where Ritsuka, Yuiko, and Yayoi go to school. So, this will mostly be high schoolers and teachers, until the scenes where they are out of school, at least.
This RP has a PG 13 rating.

The post clearly states all of it's rules. When applying for a character, it is most likely going to be a fan character, allthough real Loveless characters are allowed. It shows that you have to apply to be in it, and it is written out well.
This is how an Rp's first post should look! Please post this way or very simaler. I am really trying not to be picky, we just don't need N00bs here. As long as it's a good post, it is okay. These set of rules are really just: "In general, please try to do these things, and dont bee a n00b" so...have fun!
